How do you make chocolate brownies?

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop.
  3. Add the sugar to the melted butter and mix until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl and stir until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

Tips:

  • For a richer and fudgier brownie, you can substitute half of the all-purpose flour with unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • You can also add nuts, marshmallows, or other mix-ins to the brownie batter for some extra flavor and texture.
  • To make it easier to remove the brownies from the pan, you can line the bottom with parchment paper before greasing it.

By following these simple steps, you can make delicious chocolate brownies from scratch in no time. These brownies are perfect for any occasion and are sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Enjoy!
