The Grit Scale was developed by Angela Duckworth, a professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, to identify traits that might predict success. Here is a sample. The complete test, which appears in her book, “Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance,” is here.

I failed your test, because I successfully reached the old age of 74 + by never being greedy for that dollar bill, the next hot thing in the advert’s , the models painted faces failed to impress me, real beauty exists only in reality. My fair lady never bothered herself with curled hair and make-up, which is what it says it is; all Make-up^, nothing Real nothing real at all…..To me it is all a big lie to get you to open your wallet, swipe your card, sign on the dotted line, ignore the fine print.
